Join USA-ITA and Alston & Bird's BJ Shannon for an update on the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) and new requirements for testing and certifying apparel. Ms. Shannon will provide a brief overview of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) but will focus on the final rule for periodic testing of children’s products, which just took effect February 8, as well as the anticipated amendments to the regulation for certificates of compliance for adults’ and children’s products. She’ll also provide information about enforcement and will allow time for questions following the presentation.
