Trade Policy Committee

The USA-ITA Trade Policy Committee reviews, discusses, and makes recommendations for association positions on trade policy. This Committee approves USA-ITA participation in industry coalitions and is often asked to analyze the effect of government actions on the industry. The Committee’s current issues include the negotiations for the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), China Currency Legislation, and CAFTA-DR fixes, to name a few.

Committee Composition: Representatives from USA-ITA Brand, Retailer, and Importer Members.
