Despite global economic hardship, the Fashion Week runways were far from gloomy. We saw exotic florals in New York, vibrant colors in London, and 1920s flapper flair in Milan—and beautiful fabrics have ruled the runways so far in Paris, too. Is the economy changing, or do people simply want to dress to improve their moods?
