Textile & Apparel Exporters Guide to U.S. Anti-Dumping Investigations
Due to the recent U.S. Government action to monitor textile and apparel imports from Vietnam
for Antidumping, and the possibility of dumping actions against other textile and apparel
producing countries, USA-ITA has revised the Antidumping manual that was originally published
in 2004. This manual is designed to serve as a reference guide for textile and apparel exporters
to the United States whose exports may be targeted in antidumping complaints filed with the U.S.
authorities by competing U.S. producers.
The manual provides basic information on how American antidumping procedures work,
particularly the calculation of antidumping duties, and how to monitor and reduce potential
liability for antidumping duties in the event of an antidumping investigation. Included with the
manual is an anti-dumping questionnaire along with detailed information and instructions.
